Craft Registrations

If you want to paddle on many waterways you often need a ‘licence’ to do so and the fee collected contributes to its upkeep and maintenance.

The navigation authority for the Suffolk & Essex River Stour is the Environment Agency (EA) and their fees apply to a variety of craft whether unpowered or powered, private or business use.

REGISTER TO USE THE RIVER STOUR

River Stour Trust, as an agent for the EA, can process applications for unpowered and private use craft only. Licensing via this option means each specified craft to be used will require its own registration Choose from Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Annual for use on all EA Anglian Waterways within current season (1 April – 31 Mar). A Stour Navigation Guide is also available.
