A weekend adventure paddling 24.5 miles of the Suffolk & Essex Stour Navigation, from Sudbury to Cattawade. The River Stour Trust invites paddlers to take part in a weekend of paddling the (almost) 25 miles (37km) of the Suffolk & Essex Stour Navigation.
This is not just a fantastic outdoor adventure but also a vital fundraiser for the River Stour Trust. You are supporting the ongoing restoration and conservation of the Suffolk and Essex River Stour Navigation for the benefit and education of everyone.
No craft? No problem! Fluidity is our Official Craft Hire Partner and are kindly donating a percentage of their fee to the River Stour Trust.
You will paddle through the Stour Valley seeing parts of the local countryside that are inaccessible by any other means. Please be aware that this means you will certainly encounter stretches where the river is a little more challenging. We will try and resolve issues that are identified before the event. Our team of volunteer marshals will encourage and support you along the way. A well deserved cuppa, certificate and commemorative item awaits all finishers. Not to mention a huge sense of achievement!
