This annual event is usually held on the second May Bank Holiday Monday at The Granary Tea Room in Sudbury. We offer free boat trips for young children (under 12 years old) and their teddy bears when accompanied by a fare paying adult.
There will be multiple boats available offering short return trips lasting no more than half an hour.
Enjoy our riverside location and relaxing with friends and family. The Tea Room will be open offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and lovely homemade cake.
Buoyancy aids are provided for all child passengers and there will be multiple boats offering trips approximately every half hour with a bankside ticketing system on the day. However, we are also offering a limited number of pre-bookable places (up to 12 seats on the hour from 11am, up to 8 seats on the half at 11.30am (click on ‘BOOK ONLINE’ link below – online booking closes Friday 26 May at 11am).
