River Stour Navigation & Coronavirus

Coronavirus (COVID-19) ADVICE FOR RIVER USERS

Following updated government guidance on outdoor activities, some restrictions on the recreational use of the River Stour (and other Waterways in England) are eased. Please follow the Government’s advice on Coronavirus/Covid-19 to keep you and others safe. 

There are likely to be river related issues, such as fallen trees, so please exercise caution and report issues directly to the Environment Agency on 0800 80 70 60 (please provide a location with a grid reference or What3Words address).

UNPOWERED CRAFT

From 13 May 2020, private use canoeists, rowers, kayakers, or paddle-boarders can paddle the River Stour. Follow the link to read the EA Navigation Notice – click here

 

 

POWERED CRAFT
