Join the River Stour Trust to enjoy wonderful views on a 3.5 mile walk between Sudbury to Great Henny along part of the St Edmund’s Way and Stour Valley Path. This is followed by a 1-hour boat cruise along the River Stour with passage through Great Cornard Lock.
There is also a midway stop at our riverside Visitor Education Centre by Cornard Lock. There will be complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits but remember to bring your own packed lunch.
JOIN OUR WALKING TEAM?
We welcome volunteers to act as walk guides/back markers for this activity throughout the year. You’ll enjoy a boat trip too! The pace will be moderate and you should be fit and able enough to manage the walk. Please contact the RST office if you would like to find out more about how you can be involved.
