Offering sit on kayaks and Canadian canoes
Stour Kayak will meet you at the start to provide safety and paddle instruction briefing. They will be at the finish point to collect craft and equipment.
Hire is subject to: Stour Kayak Hire Agreement & Waiver
Single Kayak
– hire of a licensed single seat kayak
– 1 person only
– Hire includes paddle and buoyancy aid
– Single kayak weight limit: 21st/133kg
– Under-18’s must be accompanied and supervised by adult at all times
Tandem Kayak
– hire of a licensed tandem (2-seat) kayak
– single craft event entry for 2 people
– Hire includes paddle and buoyancy aid
– Tandem kayak weight limit: 29st / 184kg (total of both paddlers)
– Under-18’s must be accompanied and supervised by adult at all times
Canadian Canoe
– hire of a licensed multi-person canoe
– single craft event entry for multiple people
– Hire includes paddle and buoyancy aid
– Canadian Canoe weight limit: 66st/425kg
– Under-18’s must be accompanied and supervised by adult at all times
– Capacity: 2 adults (and up to 2 children aged under 8 years) or 3 adults (maximum capacity – no children can accompany 3 adults). If 2 children and 2 adults in canoe then 1 child will be required to sit on the floor of the canoe.
