Discover Constable’s River – Our boats operate from Spring until the end of October. We run scheduled trips on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays; with private charters also available through prior arrangement, subject to existing bookings and commitments. All trips are dependant on availability, weather and river conditions to ensure the safety of our passengers and volunteers. The boats only operate within civil twilight hours for safety and insurance reasons.
Join the crew – Our boats are crewed by our fully trained volunteers and we welcome people from all walks of life who feel they would like to help. Anyone putting themselves forward to crew our boats will undergo the full training course, which consists of basic boat handling and safe lock operation. Stour Trusty II is an elegant, Edwardian style, electric launch with a traditional canopy and can carry up to 8 adult passengers.

Francis J is a specially adapted, pontoon-style boat that is suitable for those with impaired mobility and can carry up to 8 adult passengers (including up to 2 wheelchair users).
