The working party team carries out a range of tasks from grass cutting and tree lopping  to building sheds and boat racks. From fixing leaky gutters to building jetties; the list goes on with various tasks carried carried on or by the river.

Works are carried out between Sudbury, Ballingdon, Great Cornard and Great Henny including RST sites: The Granary, Quay Lane, Sudbury and the Visitor/Education Centre (VEC), Dove House Meadow, Great Cornard.

If you are interested in volunteering then please note the following:

  • Regular working parties generally held on Wednesdays 

  • Please be prepared to get wet and/or muddy so dress appropriately

  • Remember a packed lunch, hard hat, gloves and overalls
