Anglia Landscapes arrived with the first load of hardcore (crushed concrete) that will be used to fill the gabions. In total about 140 tonnes of hardcore is required and it will all be moved across the river in wheelbarrows on the Versadock raft. The gabions are also being assembled as they arrive flat packed. This job is not as physical as it is awkward!
