Visitor/Education Centre Working Party - 9th December 2006 
Report by Jeff BurroughsThe main objective was to connect the new charging point supplied by the Environment Agency in preparation for next season’s boat trips. This meant digging a new trench from the VEC to the jetty next to the lighter. The surface was the brick rubble laid down for the construction of the VEC, which was not the easiest stuff to dig through!
We also removed some of the weed blocking the front of the newly restored small jetty as this will make it more accessible and much easier to use.
We would like to see more willing volunteers and welcome any assistance. Details of future working parties
