The Trust requires funds to carry out its work and ensure that the river can be enjoyed for generations to come. We seek assistance through donations, funding and sponsorship. All donations are gratefully received and assist with our varying activities from general maintenance of the locks and structures in our care to large scale projects, such as the current major lock restoration at Stratford St Mary.
You can come along to support our boat and tea room operations at Flatford, Dedham and Sudbury from Spring until the end of October. We also organise events to share our enjoyment of the river and raise much needed funds- click here to visit our Events Page.
The completion of the Gift Aid Declaration allows the Trust to benefit because we can reclaim up to an extra 28p for every £1 that is paid in subscriptions or donations at no additional cost to you! You need to be a UK tax payer paying an amount of Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax equal to the tax which will be reclaimed on your behalf (up to 28p for every £1).
