Launching Places  
Adjacent to The Granary, Quay Lane, Sudbury. (Follow the brown signs to the Quay
Theatre)This is a newly reconstructed slip suitable for all boats upto 50 ft.
There is parking for cars and trailers. The River Stour Trust makes no charge for this
facility.
Adjacent to the Quay Theatre, a steep slip suitable for canoes and dinghies. Parking
as above.
Great Henny. Land opposite "The Swan" public house, landlord's permission required.

Bures Recreation Ground, Nayland Road. Parking in Village Hall Car Park.
A long walk across the field
Nayland. Public Land at Junction off bypass and Bear Street, easy launch over a
low bank. Limited parking in street.
Nayland. The Anchor Inn, Church Street. Launching over grassy bank. Car Parking on the
spot, landlords permission required but not likely to be withheld
Stratford St. Mary. Launch from garden of "The Swan". Car Park beside pub,
another field is available to park trailers if the car park is crowded.

Dedham. Mill Pool Car Park, launching over a gravel bank, the Car Park can be full
on busy weekends. A public Car Park is 100 yds towards the village (Pay and Display)
Flatford. The Car Park at Flatford is 200 yards from the river, down a steep lane or
steps. It is possible, but not recommended, to take a car down to the disabled parking by
the bridge, to un load the boat, but the car must return to the main car park
Cattawade. There is a picnic site at the Old Cattawade Bridge, Cars and trailers may be
parked here, boats are launched over a grassy bank.
Cattawade Boat Roller path over the Barrage. Large craft can be launched here both
into the river and the estuary. Car and trailer parking is limited.
