The attractive, Grade II listed premises was built in 1807 for the River Stour Navigation Company and was restored by the Trust in 1989. The Granary is a Georgian, red brick building that is situated in peaceful surroundings by the River Stour yet within easy walking distance of the town centre.

The Granary is home to our Sudbury boat operations and riverside Tea Room that that are open to the public from Easter until the end of October. It is also available for private hire and is an ideal venue for meetings, seminars, classes, parties, naming ceremonies and weddings.
